Device management should be visible, limited and accountable.

This page records the privacy boundaries intended for future OFFICEAVO device and server agents. It is a product commitment framework, not a claim that the agent is publicly available.

Principles that must shape the agent

Principles that must shape the agent

01

Purpose limitation

Collect data only for defined inventory, health, security or support purposes.

02

Data minimization

Prefer a small, documented telemetry set over broad device visibility.

03

Visible enrollment

People and administrators should be able to identify when a device is managed and by which organization.

04

Action consent

Use policy, approvals and end-user consent appropriate to the risk and workplace context.

05

Access separation

Limit who can view device data, propose actions, approve them and review audit evidence.

06

Revocation

Provide controlled offboarding, key rotation and a way to disable management when authority ends.

02

Prohibited categories

Prohibited categories

The current product blueprint excludes hidden keylogging, covert camera or microphone use, unauthorized private-file collection and stealth surveillance. Those exclusions should remain testable product requirements.

An organization’s ability to administer a work device does not remove its responsibility to follow employment, privacy and data-protection law. OFFICEAVO cannot substitute for that legal assessment.

Questions, answered plainly

What to know at this stage.

Product direction and current availability are kept separate.

Is this a privacy policy?

No. It is a product-principles page for the planned device capability. A complete privacy notice and data-processing documentation must be finalized before collection begins.

Will users be able to see collected data?

Inspectability is an intended requirement. The specific interfaces and data export process have not been published.
